SNU FAFSA Night
SNU will be hosting a FAFSA night on Tuesday, December 2 for any families who have questions or need help filling out the FAFSA.

DC Comfort Closet
The Deer Creek Comfort Closet will be open every Thursday evening (4:00-7:00) from now until Winter Break (excluding Thanksgiving Day). We will also be open on Saturday, December 6 from 12:00-3:00.

Peer Tutoring Wednesdays
National Honor Society (NHS) students offer peer tutoring every other Wednesday in the Student Center. Help is available for all core subjects (Math, Science, English, and Social Studies).
When: Every other Wednesday
Where: Student Center
Time: 3:30–4:30 p.m.

OMRF Summer Scholars
Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation's Summer Scholars program is now available. Students interested in participating in biomedical research this summer can find more information at:

ACT Bootcamp for Juniors
We’re excited to share that DCHS will be offering an ACT Bootcamp ahead of the state ACT test date! Master the Test will lead this 5-hour session designed to help Juniors gain extra practice and build confidence before exam day.
The cost is $120, which includes all materials, programming, lunch, and snacks. Spots are limited.
When: February 21, 2026
8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Boys State & Girls State
Boys State and Girls State are summer leadership programs for current juniors. Participants spend a week on a college campus learning about government and developing hands-on leadership skills, and may also earn college credit.
Scholarships are available to pay for the program. Reach out to erickavancleave@dcsok.org

Students in grades 8–12 with a qualifying family income may receive up to four years of free Oklahoma college tuition.
